Charlotte, N.C. – Tryon Medical Partners is proud to announce the expansion of its gynecology specialty to also focus on women’s sexual health with the addition of Alyse Kelly-Jones, MD, joining in April and Kylie Cajka, FNP-C, and Lindsey Mosley, FNP-C, who start practicing at the end of February at the newly opened Tryon Women’s Center. The new clinicians will increase the capacity of Tryon’s existing gynecology team, led by Jennie Jarvis Hauschka, MD, and includes Philomena Salvemini Hilton, MD, T. Christopher Morris, MD and Erin M. Stone, MD.
More information on the specialty is available on Tryon’s website, where patients can sign up for updates when the new clinicians are ready to book appointments. Patients and the public are welcome to meet Tryon’s entire gynecology and sexual health team during an Open House set for Tuesday, Mar. 7, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Tryon Women’s Center located at 330 Billingsley Road, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28211, in Charlotte Medical Plaza II.
“We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from patients to our incredible gynecologists and the investment we’ve made in the Tryon Women’s Center. This is only the beginning,” said Tryon Medical Partners’ CEO Dr. Dale Owen. “Our ultimate goal is for the Tryon Women’s Center to celebrate those who identify as women and support their unique healthcare needs.”
Tryon Medical Partners’ guiding philosophy is that stronger relationships drive better health outcomes. Tryon’s gynecology and sexual health practice focuses on person-centered care that is accepting, safe and supportive. While Tryon’s gynecology team has always addressed sexual health as part of gynecology, Dr. Kelly-Jones’ nationally recognized expertise will ensure that patients’ sexual health concerns can be addressed with the best care available in Charlotte.
“Our practice has always been about much more than simply helping women have better sex; it’s about addressing concerns that prevent them from feeling their best,” said Dr. Kelly-Jones. “Kylie, Lindsey and I believe that Tryon is deeply committed to providing the sexual healthcare and menopause management our patients need, and we are excited for the opportunity to expand and grow our practice.”
Dr. Kelly-Jones has spent the majority of her professional career helping women who are dealing with sexual dysfunction, especially low libido and painful sex. In late 2019, she left her established OB/GYN practice to launch the Novant Health Women’s Sexual Health & Wellness office in March 2020. With this move, she discontinued obstetrics to build a successful practice exclusively dedicated to the sexual functioning of pre-and post-menopausal women. Joining Tryon will allow Dr. Kelly Jones and her clinical team to meet the increasing demand for women-focused, specialized, sex-positive healthcare after Novant closes the practice March 15, 2023. Dr. Kelly-Jones serves as the chair of the public outreach committee of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, is a TedX speaker and has been featured in O Magazine, Self and Women’s Health, among other national media outlets.
The Tryon Women’s Center features more than 8,000 square feet of practice space, increasing Tryon Medical Partners’ footprint to approximately 190,000 square feet. The practice currently serves approximately 200,000 registered patients.
