WSOC’s Damany Lewis spoke with Dr. Ryan Shelton of Tryon Medical Partners about the CDC’s new regulations which relax the recommendations for when, and under what circumstances, people should get tested for COVID-19. Until the CDC provides more context for their recommendations, Dr. Shelton and the state of North Carolina agree – current testing protocols are working and should remain in place.
