Tryon Medical Partners congratulates our own Dr. Mohammad Rahman, an Internal Medicine physician at our Ballantyne office, for his recent teaching award from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine Charlotte Campus.
Dr. Rahman earned an Award of Excellence as the best community preceptor in ambulatory internal medicine, as voted by the school’s medical students.
The award was presented by Dr. Iris Cheng, Ambulatory Outpatient IM Course Director, and Celeste Colcord, Director of Undergraduate Medical Studies. “Dr. Rahman has been a trusted, valued member of our community teaching faculty in precepting students in his clinic,” Dr. Cheng says of her colleague’s honor. “He is a lifelong learner himself and teaches with great wisdom and enthusiasm.”
Everyone at Tryon Medical Partners is proud of Dr. Rahman for receiving this award, and continuing to instruct and inspire the next generation of physicians.
