Dr. Womack Says:
“I am an outdoors enthusiast! On the weekends, I am generally working in my yard, hiking, camping, biking, swimming or paddling with my husband and our dog, Mustang.
I was an engineer and decided to leave that field and become a physician when my dad became very ill and spent several weeks in the hospital. I strive to practice medicine with the compassion and humanity that was shown to him during his illness by his doctors and nurses. Although I love the science of medicine – always changing, evolving, and improving – the best part for me is the relationships I develop with my patients. When I started out in medicine, I had no idea how valuable it is to create a bond with each individual patient. This has become the most rewarding part of medicine for me.”
