Patients Say:

“Dr. Buehrig really cares about me, not only as a patient but as an individual.  He is compassionate, listens to my concerns and is invested in finding answers and solutions to my problems.”

“Dr. Buehrig always makes time to explain things in a way that I can understand. He’s never too busy to make sure that I understand my medical issues or any aspect of my treatment. I never leave his office feeling confused or anxious as to what will come next.”

Dr. Buehrig Says:

“I became a doctor because of a desire to make a real and meaningful difference in my patient’s lives. My grandfather was a surgeon in World War II, and a general practitioner upon his return for the remainder of his career. My mother was an OB-GYN/neonatology nurse during my formative years. Witnessing just how great an impact their care, compassion and understanding had on their patient’s lives greatly impacted and molded me.

My time at medical school revealed my love for complicated and involved problems, later leading me to study the fields of internal medicine and nephrology. I greatly enjoy spending time with my patients and helping them to better understand all aspects of their medical care, no matter how simple or complicated. As a prior nephrologist, I am passionate about the early diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of renal disease.

Outside the office, if you can’t find me spending time with my three children, then look for me in my garage rebuilding and restoring old vintage and classic cars.”
