“Growing up with my mom being a nurse and my father a solider made me realize that I wanted to serve others. I chose the profession of nursing and worked on a progressive coronary care unit for six years. My love for nursing and helping people was satisfied; however, I knew I could do more for my community. I wanted to dive into preventive medicine and managing chronic diseases to keep people happy and healthy at home with their loved ones.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy kayaking, playing with my two chocolate Labrador Retrievers, and enjoying time with family and friends.”
