Leslie Klein, MSN, FNP

Leslie Says:

“My career in nursing began as a medical assistant, after graduating from Central Piedmont Community College, then working in a pediatric office. I loved it so much, I made a career of being a nursing student!  Next I received an Associate degree as an RN, later returning to obtain a Bachelors and Masters degree in nursing. I worked for several years in a hospital setting before moving to a urology practice. It was there that I found my niche in women’s healthcare, and began caring for women with common urologic problems such as UTIs, incontinence and interstitial cystitis. I loved helping women openly discuss problems they kept to themselves because they were too embarrassed to talk about them. It has always been important to me to help patients realize there is no shame in having an open discussion with a healthcare provider whom they can trust.

After returning to my hometown of Charlotte, I began working in a practice that provided women’s healthcare, as well as aesthetics. During my time there, I performed over 6000 Mona Lisa Touch vaginal laser procedures for women with post-menopausal vaginal symptoms, whether from natural loss of estrogen or from previous breast cancer treatment. Needless to say, I’ve seen amazing results with this revolutionary treatment that provides another option when hormone treatment has been ineffective. And I’ve seen many women regain their sexuality and ability to have comfortable intercourse after treatment.

I also have a passion for skincare and have performed a multitude of aesthetic procedures over the years, including injectables, facial lasers and hair loss procedures. I hope to bring some of these procedures to Tryon Women’s Center and give women another reason to feel good about themselves.

I’m honored to work at here so that I can continue to provide quality care to women who are experiencing the natural effects of estrogen loss or menopause. I encourage women to advocate for their own health and never be afraid to discuss health concerns with an experienced, compassionate provider.

Outside of the office, my husband and I enjoy exercise, pickleball, travel, reading and spending time at the beach with family.”
