“I chose medicine because I wanted to help people manage both the acute and chronic health challenges that come with everyday life, and to assist them as those needs change over the years. Primary care is about getting to know my patients and supporting their general health in the long term. I believe that good care is a partnership, and my patients should be active participants in decisions about their health.
Growing up in Charlotte, my primary care was an independent practice — something that over the past few decades has gradually diminished. I was drawn to Tryon Medical Partners because we are an independent, physician-led and patient-focused group that offers the comprehensive multi-specialty care you expect in a large city, but with the personal attention you get with a small-town practice.
I have lived in Charlotte since childhood and returned to the area with my wife and our dog. Outside of the office, I will most likely be working on the latest house DIY project, gardening or hiking.”
