She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing practice from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner Across the Lifespan from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

During her career working in acute care and emergency medicine at Novant Health, she was twice honored with a Daisy Award for extraordinary nursing. After working in critical care, Lindsey has expanded her practice to the outpatient side of healthcare, where she looks forward to breaking down barriers patients face when seeking care.

Lindsey says:

As an integrated care nurse practitioner, my job is to advocate for you, the patient, and create a seamless transition from the acute care environment to your primary care team at Tryon.

Before joining Tryon, I worked for Novant Health for many years, supporting ICU (intensive care unit) patients and working in urgent care. I look forward to helping you get the best care possible.

In-Hospital Navigation is part of Tryon's Value-Based Medicine program.

Value-based medicine is a healthcare model that holds clinicians accountable for the quality of care delivered. The model focuses on improving patient outcomes, in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. This is different from a traditional fee-for-service model, whereby clinicians and hospitals are rewarded for each service they provide.
