Dr. Thompson Says:
“From a young age, I watched my father struggle with advanced heart failure. He had a cardiologist who later became my mentor and close friend. Over many years, I witnessed firsthand the beauty of a physician working with the patient to improve symptoms, promote health and produce longevity. From these early interactions, I became convinced that continuity of care and the physician-patient relationship are essential to having each patient reach their best health.
Each patient represents a new life that I am given the honor to help improve, and every patient I see becomes a new member of my extended family. I take on each patient experience intentionally, learning about their life and specific goals so that together we can help them feel their very best. My favorite part of the job is the follow-up visit when the patient tells me they feel better and more like themselves.
Outside of the office, my life is blessed to be busy and full, and I cherish every minute. Our family includes my husband, three young daughters, a dog, two cats, five chickens and two bunnies. We love traveling to the beach, attending our church, Clemson football, boating days on the lake and enjoying this wonderful life.”
